In addition to classroom programs, Cool-ology® offers large group/whole school hands-on, inquiry-based science and engineering station activities for children. These activities can be held during special science events such as science week or science nights. Here are the details:
Students rotate through science and/or engineering stations on specific topics. Topics can be mixed and the number of students can be increased for a science night.

- Water Wonders/Sink or Float
- Energy, Forces, and Motion: Catapults/Mini Roller Coasters and more!
- March Madness: Newton’s Laws
- Making Waves: Light and Sound
- Biomes and Biomimicry
- Design It/Build It Engineering: STEAM Connections
- Electricity and Magnetism
- Matter
- Air, Air Pressure, Flight
- Cool Chemistry
Customized programs can be created for your school or program’s unique needs!
Cool-ology provides all activities (including background information and tips for success), student notebooks* and supplies needed for the event.
*Notebooks copied by the school: 1 per child
Teacher or volunteer helpers man stations. A 45-minute training is provided if needed.
Cool-ology works with the school to obtain volunteers by providing request form templates.
Cost is $175 per contact hour (including one hour set up and clean up time). Some travel expenses may apply.
